Had a bit of a panic tonight. Wife went round to the daughter's and came back with one if my grandson's t-shirts to measure up against the football top I bought for him - t-shirt was a bit bigger than the top!!! The only way we could ensure that it fit before his birthday was to get him to try it on. So around we went and said it was an early birthday present. The look on his face when he saw his name on the back was brilliant! He grabbed the top and tried it on - it fit!!! And to top it off even better, he said that he'll probably have to get rid of his New****le top - music to this lads ears <laugh>

Now he's asking his mam and dad when he's going to a Sunderland match! <cool>

Bit of an update - tickets for Burnley now secured for the grandson's first match and he's now wearing his top playing FIFA where his team is Sunderland playing against a club called Newcastle (you may have heard of them! <laugh>) Feeling so proud now, my job is nearly done <cheers>

Joey Barton has some kind of psychological disorder imo, has anyone seen his comments after they beat Palace U21's?

Strange comments about none of them being capable of playing proper football and how he wouldn’t have a single one of them play in his team, hard to judge when 11 U21's are playing against men but I bet there are plenty that would improve his team if slotted in one or two amongst those with experience.

Slagging them off for leaving tackles in in his players when they have games that matter mortgages kn the line, despite one of his players seeing red and him being a violent bellend all his life. Then there is a bizarre my players have mortgages in the line our games matter comment, whose mortgage is on the line every Saturday in football the absolute dick, apart from him the players aren't going to get sacked for a ****e result and I doubt he has a mortgage to pay!
