https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-buy-manchester-united?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other The emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, is expected to make a bid of more than £4bn for Manchester United by Friday’s deadline, with those driving the purchase for the country’s ruler valuing the club at no more than £4.5bn. The Glazer family, who own United, have set an asking price of £6bn. The Raine Group, which administered Chelsea’s sale, is the financial adviser to the Glazers and it is thought Friday is a soft deadline, meaning offers may be countenanced after that. The emir owns Paris Saint-Germain via Qatar Sports Investments. Uefa rules do not allow clubs that can meet in the same continental competition to have the same proprietor. A solution is being sought, the current one being to demonstrate that United would not be administered by the same structure and personnel as PSG. The billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of Britain’s richest people, has confirmed his company, Ineos, is also targeting buying United. Ratcliffe, 70, is a lifelong United supporter.
Has a goal keeper ever been happy with a goal kick? They always looked pissed off like they've ballsed up a pass. They spend ages placing the ball down, lining it up, the lash it out where 20 blokes try to win it.

If anyone is on Facebook I recommend Lost football grounds and terraces of great Britain. Quite interesting.
All a bit Orwellian. It seems we are re-writing large chunks of history to please the minority and I don't mean minority as in a particular race, gender or sexuality of a group but the small group that believes this is necessary!
Football has truly sold it's soul to the devil The once revered name of the Bolton Wanderers stadium, The University of Bolton Stadium, will now be changed to .... .... The Toughsheet Community Stadium. Absolutely no respect for tradition! https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2023/february/the-toughsheet-community-stadium/
Well what a surprise, I always thought she'd just fallen in. Anyone who has a dog would know the dog was pacing around that area as the last place she'd been seen. If she'd walked off, or been dragged off, the dog would've followed ... basic common sense. The various theories about alien abduction or blaming the dog were obviously ridiculous. The specialist search team who boasted the body couldn't possibly be in the river should be absolutely ashamed.. Truly pathetic by absolutely everyone involved from the friends, the media, the police, the public, etc. 60,000 women go missing every year but this case became another Madeline McCann for a reason I just don't understand. "An underwater search expert looking for Nicola Bulley has said his team is pulling out of the hunt as she is "categorically not" in the area of the river where detectives believe she fell in. If Nicola was in that river I would have found her - I guarantee you that - and she's not in that section of the river."
The police missed a foot path that wasn't search, also what could have been vital evidence, was a glove which may have belong to the missing girl. A bit of a shambles without anyone coming out it with any credit.
