I must be missing something.

Apparently the new 'Golden Boy of British Sport' is Matt Weston according to the lead story on News at Ten.

This is the Winter Olympics, so not the Olympics, and not one of the major events ...

... no, this is a man on a sledge.

WTF?
Makes decent cider, gets my vote.

One of my sons bought me this for Christmas, time to start turning all the bits into something that resembles a Yamaha XV1600 bike and rider.
I haven't done one for what seems like ages, even though ive got a wardrobe full of the buggers.
I'll post a pic when I get them finished, might be a couple of weeks.

Thought I'd give an update on this, Ive got it finished.

I had just about finished the bike when things had to go on hold for a while. Over the past week or so ive managed to finish the bike, and the rider.
Tbh, its been good doing it on a night time, just to occupy myself.

Apologies for posting a few images, but this one felt different.

Saw a little boy having a tantrum in a shopping centre today because his Mam wouldn't let him go into Mango to buy fruit.

Big shout out to the amazon delivery drivers that drop your stuff off on the step mark it as "received" and walk away only for some scumbag to come and pinch it. F**kin stupid c**ts. ps, I'm not lumping all delivery drivers into one pile, this was specifically aimed at the f**kin moronic ones.

I lived in Carrville for a few years in my teens. Most Saturday mornings were spent at the ice rink then into the city centre to hang around the statue and look around the market the cathedral and record shops. Home for about 4pm for tea then around 6pm me and my mate Sol walking to Newton Hall for the Randy Mandy Sound Sensation. Even now I look back and think they were some of the best days of my life.

Sitting here watching the football and realised I could hear lambs in the top field!!!

Of course, it's March 1st and these are the first spring lambs ...

... too late now but I'll have a walk up the lane tomorrow.

We rent the farm buildings, and the meadow, to the farmer so the first sheep to deliver are in the barns.

With any luck there'll be a few 'pet lambs' who'll need feeding over the next few weeks.

When my lot were little, I used to love taking them to Hall Hill Farm and bottle feeding the lambs.

The shepherd is on his own here so he's always glad of some help.

Fortunately my bosses are off to see their son, in Jamaica, on Tuesday so I'll have a few weeks to help.

I used to think 'pet lambs' was just a cute name people gave to all lambs ...

... I've only realised since I came here what it actually means.
