    I would suggest a social economic issue, for instance we don't have as many of the built up densely populated squalor holes that some of the biggest cities in England have to deal with (yes I am aware of where I grew up Ciaran) - but that wouldn't explain why the Welsh appear to do so badly with a similar level of low population density?

    There are different examination boards setting GCSEs, how can we be sure that pupils in all areas sit equally testing exams?
