Ristac - a couple of things you can try

1) Make sure you have the latest version of modro as there were problems with earlier versions (should be version 2.0.16)
2) Clear your cashe - settings>apps>modbro>clear cache - advisable to do this regularly <ok>

3) Usually there are more than one source for the channels. If one is not working, try another
Already tried theses and no change, tried a few settings like turning it down to 720 but still no joy. I think it is pot luck when you watch a channel to what source you are going to get? Does Mobdro just search for any available channel source and connect you to one?

I guess at the end of the day it's free so I shouldn't complain. Would I ditch my paid Sky for it, not a chance on first impression. The Plex alternative is far superior and offers a vastly greater choice of channels and movies but it's £55 a year.

Personally for me it's like dishing out on a blu-ray player and watching pirate dvd's, I have a 4K TV and I want to watch decent quality, Mobdro is just unbearably poor (for me).

Greatful for the link, glad I tried it, it cost me nothing but if anyone reading this finds it not good enough in quality go Plex or stick to paid subscription.

Just to add, I went for Plex as I did have BT sport and ditched it when they increased the price, I intend on taking it to Cyprus with me too <ok>

Not related to the current discussion points on here, but if anyone has a dodgy or broken computer, this might help. Not a con, apparently either, which surprised me when I saw the original advert. Seems too good to be true, but it isn't. I've spared you the initial advert & sales video & gone straight to an independent review.

Not seen or heard of it before but looks interesting...

Don't think you'll get great quality ever on the football/sports. They appear to feed in at 480 and I'm guessing this gets enhanced by the various sky, virgin, bt boxes. Films, tv and box sets are good quality though. I' ll have a look at Plex, so thanks for heads up on that one.
