Hall has to get past, Burn, Liveramento, Dummet, Ritchie, Murphy, Gillespie, Karius and now Joe White <doh>

Not really Trippier is getting on a bit so Livramento will play there and he's better than all the others.

There's a huge argument fro ignorance taking place regarding Hall... the old he must be **** and there's no other explanation.

He's a good player and in time he'll be brought in.. that's my view anyway... just a kid and Howe wanted Burn and still wants to use him.

If we remember Trippier struggled not too long ago and Howe kept faith with him to allow him to play himself back into form, can see the same pattern here. Just need the form to return.

I actually understand why he never drops trippier though because he's a class player and it was always a blip... Burn I don't understand.

The thing is Hall wasn't just brought here because someone watched him once and made a mistake.

I believe there it's simply down to Hall being a youth player the club really believes in long term.

The option to extend and further kick the money down the road would suit.

Trippier is different, he's that old adage of 'form is temporary, class is permanent'. We're waiting for Burn - far from class - to somehow have the odd good game. Same with Longstaff, Almiron and a number of the other stooges Howe has placed his faith in.

I thought white did well in a short time the other day .. looked to have a bit of legs. Already more useful than Longstaff.

The thing is once Newcastle are out the cup they should give the likes of Hall Livramento white and Miley as much game time as possible.

The only way forward is to grow players organically at this point and if they don't play they don't get there do they.

Try a different way give these boys their chance ffs.

They should all be playing now! Can’t wait until we win the cup as the season will have finished by then

I wouldn't disagree but Newcastle will be out the cup the minute they draw a good side. We're absolutely dreadful and have been for months.

Blackburn away should be easy enough.

I am very very far from being g in the Howe out camp but I do think if we finish outside of any European football the ownership will make a change.

    T

Good young players don't have to go out on loan. Especially with the Loan Shark Shola in charge of loans.

From the fact he hasn't been that great when we've seen him, from the fact Dan Burn is keeping him out of the first team, and cos of the fact that even with a huge amount of injuries and players playing out of position, he can't get a game.

He was brilliant vs Man United and scored a volley from 18 yards and the other times largely he was out of position. Just because Burn is playing doesn't mean Hall isn't a better player mate.

Managers can be wrong , can have favourites and the club can have longer term plans for youth players.

But Dan Burn is vital to whatever tactic Howe claims we have......

Thing for me is, if height is so important (or Burn is) then go 3-5-2, it would suit us way better. I'm now going to run for cover as I get pelters when suggesting formation might be the issue......

    However, when everyoine is fit

    upload_2024-2-19_14-23-42.png

Add in you've got options, Livramento maybe ahead of Hall or Trips, Joelinton, Miley, Barnes and Anderson wll of whom could be more central. You would even have Almiron in a better position as backup for Gordon. Murphy can also do RWB. You've got Lascelles who could step in at CB, move Botman ahead of Burn. Plus we need a new CB anyway. I dunno, that makes an AWFUL lot more sense than the dross we keep churning out.
