This whole DoF stuff is definitely a huge problem. If he does go and we get a new one in he will want to change everything (probably).

It’s a long term thing so could set us back years.

Let's have a little sense check here.

Some have suggested Ashworth wants to go because Howe has too much say over matters, including transfers. Howe is too stubborn, etc.

Same people saying Howe is not good enough and we need someone more like Mourinho.

    Right...

IF Ashworth doesn't have the balls / ability to stand up to Howe, then Jose would simply eat him alive.

So IF those theories hold true, that means Ashworth isn't right for the role anyway. IF.

So let's stop the bullshit theories about Howe having too much power. If Ashworth goes, it's simply because he sees Man United as a bigger/better offer. Fair play to him, I can't blame him for that.

But IF it's due to personalities and Howe intimidating him, then quite frankly he can go get stuffed, because he must be a wet fart.

Howe has too much say because of a perfect storm season and Amanda Staveley. His brother as a ****ing scout?! Bournemouth physio?! Jesus it’s like going back to Shepherd and his son.

We are still very much stuck in a small team mentality. Howe was a small time appointment that’s now got out of control as he’s got the keys to the kingdom. You can see the small mindedness in matters like Burn, the injuries, the £100m spend on young British subs who don’t get a game.

Who Howe? Shepherd had the club pay to use a warehouse his son owned, shady bastard.

Again it’s really small time. I think the first thing that needs to happen is for Staveley to be bought out. Once that happens I think we’ll start to really move up on the football side. The issue is we’ve allowed Howe to get too ingrained in the club. It’s definitely her, she said she wanted him to be our Fergie. Problem is he’s bang average.

10 years to win the league seems highly unlikely.

So the woman who tried to buy the club off Mike Ashley - You want out.
The woman who then tried to keep the fans happy by keeping Rafa in charge - You want out.
The woman who went head to head with the PL to ensure a takeover went through - You want out.
The woman who brought the richest wealth fund in the World to us and sold us to them - You want out.

    WOW

    Talk about being ****ing ungrateful.

Well when you put it like that…..

She has been transformative and rightly goes down in history. I’m just not convinced by Howe. And I think she’s going to stand by him.

She’s been fantastic for the club in many ways as you mention and a whole lot more.

The women’s football team aswell. The communication with the fans.

Look she’s been brilliant for us. But I always say the same thing and it’s about progress.

You could almost say that we are at the end of phase one/two. The club is now setup perfectly to progress.

It’s this next step in the process which will be challenging. Howe and Staveley can definitely do the job but they will both make mistakes along the way.

You don’t become a Man City over night and they made a shed load of mistakes on their journey. And some of them might come back to bite them bigstyle.

She's about to go take on Barclay's in court again. Think she's stronger than a lot of people give her credit for.

Losing a case previously and gearing up to take on a firm of that size again takes some ****ing ruthlessness and nerve like.
