Why do you give a **** if people are saying Rooney plays s**t for England?
He plays good enough for Man United, thats all you should be concerned about.
I dont really follow England enough to comment, Saturdays game VS Italy was the first England game I have watched since England got knocked out of the last World Cup.....by Italy.
Didnt watch a single qualifier. I watch the World Cup purely because there are usually a few decent matches (none of which usually include England) and beside that have next to 0 interest in International football.

Did they knock us out of the last one? Thought it was the mighty Germans.

I share your sentiments, and UIR's. I've had the support waterboarded out of me by years of dismal failure.

Still, we're still in it so may as well take an interest. Once we're gone though we can concentrate on the good stuff.

By teams with no chance such as Germany.

See, I cant even tell you who knocked us out.
But yeah it was the Germans :p I remember, Lampards goal that was disallowed
 
Italy did us in the last Euro's. I didn't watch a single one of our games but managed to catch the inevitable penalty loss.

This world cup could get interesting though, depends what Hodgson had the balls to try. Or not!

Either way, it's been pretty good so far from the matches I've caught.

First draw of the tournament, been pretty exciting otherwise. Excited for the next game though. Have to record it as the game is on during work and I won't get home until it finishes up so I had to record. Going to shut down every form of technology I can so the game doesn't get ruined for me. Going for a 3-1 win for the USA. Ghana scores a dodgy goal in the first 15 minutes, the United States scores 3 goals in quick succession early in the 2nd half to put it away.

U-S-A. I believe!
