Classic ozil. Went missing and germs missed Khedira and Kramer when ozil moved there.
Gotze's finish was Aguero style, assist from Chelsea boy and big game player
Shame Aguero wasn't fit but GermS missed Gundo, Reus and khedira
Was it a vote or whoever the sponsors fancied meeting? Either way I can understand how it would end in Messi winning it even though it's clearly ludicrous. Possibly Neuer for me. Struggling to think of one truly outstanding performer though Rodriguez was obviously excellent but maybe didn't stay in the tournament long enough to justify it.

Memory's fade with time matth so the words "best world cup ever" are often muttered after each tournament. plus the fact that you're what, 23 or 24 years old so can only really judge the last three or four.
Like with most world cups, this one started well but faded in the latter stages. whether that is due to nerves or better opposition I don't know.
always thought Gundo repped Turks unlike Ozil.. oh well..
But true - Germans missed so many good players but still went toe to toe..
