Seeing as the teams (most likely) going down have very little talent. I'd take Austin and Ings and that's it. How about extending the discussion to include any Championship teams that fail to get promoted?

Hughes from Derby? Bamford, Deeney? Are any of these ready for the step up?

I haven't really been keeping much of a look out down there this season, but considering how well Clyne, Jay Rod, and in fact most of our 2012/13 team adapted to the Prem, I think this is where we should be hunting.

Bamford is a Chelsea player.

Also be tempted by Robertson of Hull.

This.

We missed a trick when Hull got him. Every time I've seen him he's looked excellent. He's got a great end product and he's not afraid to drive at a defence - things that I can't say about Shaw and we got 27m for him!

Sign him up.

If Chelsea decide to buy an English player in the next window, they maybe willing to part with Bamford, to fund (like Bertrand) a transfer and replace the native quotient.

He has proved himself at every level. His goals could really dig any team out of a hole.
Bamford seems to be under the impression he will be Chelsea's 3rd choice striker either next year or the year after.

He is ok. Not sure how he would do in a top 6 team though? Essence of Danny Wallace in him, i.e., we'd need a sign at the end of the pitch that says "stop here and cross it"

He just strikes me as one of those that we could develop here. One that the majority of fans would say "uh, he's not our quality" but could prove to be another Betrand.
