At this point I am looking at the positives in so far as we appear to have signed a player that could have played at a higher level than us and, if fit, has the ability to continue to play for us to a good standard in a higher league. Never heard of him. Looked him up and saw he played 30 games in the premier league two years ago and then only 17 in the championship last year. Weird.

Nah don't be fooled by height mate. Im not much taller and i have tapped many 6 foot plus lads out in jiu jitsu and not to mention laying a few out in various incidents throughout my life.
Its not the size of the dog, its the fight in the dog and all that. Truestory though

I was a six foot three centre back. If you put me on a five foot seven attacker, I'd have done keep ups with them.

A good big man is better than a good small man as they say in boxing.

Besides, I'm just taking the piss. Five seven doesn't scare me if he's good.

Haha me neither mate, i avoid it at all costs. Im a single dad who has joint custody to 2 amazing boys, i have a good job, and train as much as i can in the little free time i have free so lifes not bad.

I wish i had my drive and aggression in my 20s though and done abit of MMA of Bare knuckle

Speaking of which. I think I forgot to post on here. I became a dad last Friday.

Little Freyja Lenore Smith is a platinum haired **** machine who almost killed her old mum coming out. But baby is well, and mum will get better.

I really appreciate that mate. Its unfortunate that most of the new posters dont even realise how much of an impact you've made to keep this board going.
I respect you loads as a poster mate and a massive Safc fan, and after all these year's i feel like i know you personally, so to hear your now a dad puts a smile on my face
