Doubt we will be in the market for anyone else. However, Essien departure rumours are picking up speed.

The fee and wages would be astronomical and there's no way he'd leave in the pinnacle of his career to play in the Europa League. He's made it clear he wants to be in the squad for Brazil 2014 and playing for a big club on the biggest stage can help him do that. From what I've heard he wants Chelsea and only Chelsea and will stay with Porto if he can't get the move
 
Only two days left in the transfer window. Dont expect any of Meireles, Essien, Malouda, Benayoun or Sturridge to remain, or hope not anyway. Think we should sign a striker and a central midfielder. My choices would be Falcao, Hulk or Cavani for the striker and Marouane Fellaini for the midfielder. We could possibly chuck some of those players into deals, but those 5 could easily raise 50m to spend
 
We hear Chelsea need a striker. Loic Remy is a cheap but cheerful target we hear. We hear Spurs want him too. We hear that Andy Carroll has been told his swim in the Pool is over "all those with black and white bands please leave the pool" .

What big ears we have.

I think a cheeky cheap punt for Carroll could be worth it. A big, strong plank of wood upfront with a self inflated ego may be the plan B RDM needs. JT would have a new friend to invite over for Playstation night and Jason Statham movies.
 
Could have done worse than 4 million on Berb from United. Better being our 2nd choice than United's 5th, has P.L experience and could give us a couple of seasons whilst Danny and Lukaku come on a bit more.

2/3 may go but certainly cant see us losing all 5 this late on and certainly not Sturridge.

Regarding the players mentioned above; I can see Essien and Malouda now going but not Meireles.
 
I love Yossi, hope he stays! About time we flogged Malolda though....anybody got any inside info of any incoming players or is that us finished?
 
Thorgan Hazard has joined SV Zulte Waregem on a season long loan.

Amin Affane has joined Roda JC on loan, and they have the rights to talk to him first when his Chelsea contract runs out next year.

Gaël Kakuta has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season long loan, no permanent buy clause though, it looks like you're going to try and raise his value and sell him to a French team next year.

I have seen that we're interested in Benayoun on loan again, but it wasn't a reliable source.
