Club Twitter says we've signed Montenegro. It's official we've signed him on a season long loan with the option to buy if we like him.
According to hammers fans he was their worst signing in their history. He's a striker.

Matt Smith will be off to Fulham if a fee can be agreed ... hmm, if he does go it doesn't say much about his pledge to want to stay at a big club ... then again, Fulham will probably double his wages so let's see what happens ... they obviously feel Smith is needed to bring out the best in McContract ... jeez I'd take anything over £1m for Smith in a heartbeat
Can't see what Montenegro will bring, but we already know what we get from Smith, & if all else fails, he's at least a decent impact sub. I'd therefore be surprised if we sold him, especially to a rival.
Too right Billy, in the match against Brighton, Smith managed to either head the ball out or pass to the opposition at every opportunity, just not skilled enough for us long term. If £5m is really being offered snap their hands off
If they were to offer us £5m for a guy you reckon can't pass or head, I'd take it. But I reckon he can head and pass. So I'd rather he wasn't sold
