Mate, that's a real shame. I'm so glad you still have your vinyl collection or most of it I hope. I recently gave about 90% of my CD collection to a charity shop. Compact disks are a almost dead medium now. Even if you go to say HMV now the CD section is a third of the size it was, they just sell c**p now.

The other funny thing is vinyl is getting big again. Last year vinyl albums sold over a million for the 1st time since the late 80's. I love the sight of a good vinyl collection, for a music head nothing compares in my opinion. You can now also get all the new releases on vinyl again now.

All my music collection is on my laptop or phone etc.

Sorry to here that mate!

Correction, you did not mention CD's so sorry about that. It reminded me of a mate who got broken into a few years back and they took his.

If you have any hard to get hold of stuff and you want a hand getting hold of it then please PM me, I will and most likely can help you!

Aye, thanks for your condolences!
Vinyl is getting big again but I think they're flagrantly trying to rip people off with the prices. If they really want vinyl to boom again, they need to sell them at reasonable prices. That's why I don't buy much new vinyl, if it all.
Luckily, they completely left my vinyl collection alone, which is quite a big collection. I didn't expect anyone to mess with that as vinyl doesn't have much value or they'd really have to know what they're looking for.
I still have loads of CDs but, like you, I don't use them anymore and I can't be bothered to rip them and start a new digital music collection. I really do think I'll stick to vinyl and spotify/youtube.
Make a backup of your digital music!

Good shout about making a backup, I'm doing so right now!

OK, so we signed a striker today on loan. To celebrate this I thought we should have a striker themed tune/song.

Well here it is, only on the QPR forum music thread!....

If you translate the lyrics it goes "Bang 20 goals in Mauro, Bang 20 goals in Mauro"

" Champions league for QPR Mauro, Champions league for QPR Mauro,"

I kid you not...
