Aye, thanks for your condolences! Vinyl is getting big again but I think they're flagrantly trying to rip people off with the prices. If they really want vinyl to boom again, they need to sell them at reasonable prices. That's why I don't buy much new vinyl, if it all. Luckily, they completely left my vinyl collection alone, which is quite a big collection. I didn't expect anyone to mess with that as vinyl doesn't have much value or they'd really have to know what they're looking for. I still have loads of CDs but, like you, I don't use them anymore and I can't be bothered to rip them and start a new digital music collection. I really do think I'll stick to vinyl and spotify/youtube. Make a backup of your digital music!
