It must be over 10 years ago I bought tickets to see S Club 7 for my elder daughter for her birthday. Rather than just give them to her I thought I'd make them a surprise. We set sail for London on the day of the concert telling her that we were going to the London Aquarium. When we got there the queues to get in were enormous, but there was this strange yellow vehicle sitting in the road. After some quick investigation we found out this was Duck's Tours who were very happy to take our business. So after a quick, but most enjoyable, spin around London where you go both over and under Lambeth Bridge, and my God what a splash when you enter The Thames, we settled down for dinner in a local restaurant. Right on cue, my younger daughter said that she didn't want to go home yet, so I suggested that we drove across London to see what we would see.
As we headed towards the Docklands Arena, my elder daughter started to recognise our surroundings as we had been there a couple of times before, so I said that we were getting close to the arena and should we see if there was any Ice Hockey on. Both daughters grumbled, but I parked up regardless. As we were a little late the streets were empty and we were able to approach the arena with no indication as to who was playing and it was only when we reached the entrance it became apparent. The look of surprise and excitement on both daughter's faces made it worth the world to me.
Ladies and gentlemen, S Club 7
