PPS: Again sorry about any bad spelling on my part. Once I have noticed I promise to edit the post and correct the ones I know about. Peace!
One of the best duos of the late 70s/early 80s...

It must be over 10 years ago I bought tickets to see S Club 7 for my elder daughter for her birthday. Rather than just give them to her I thought I'd make them a surprise. We set sail for London on the day of the concert telling her that we were going to the London Aquarium. When we got there the queues to get in were enormous, but there was this strange yellow vehicle sitting in the road. After some quick investigation we found out this was Duck's Tours who were very happy to take our business. So after a quick, but most enjoyable, spin around London where you go both over and under Lambeth Bridge, and my God what a splash when you enter The Thames, we settled down for dinner in a local restaurant. Right on cue, my younger daughter said that she didn't want to go home yet, so I suggested that we drove across London to see what we would see. As we headed towards the Docklands Arena, my elder daughter started to recognise our surroundings as we had been there a couple of times before, so I said that we were getting close to the arena and should we see if there was any Ice Hockey on. Both daughters grumbled, but I parked up regardless. As we were a little late the streets were empty and we were able to approach the arena with no indication as to who was playing and it was only when we reached the entrance it became apparent. The look of surprise and excitement on both daughter's faces made it worth the world to me. Ladies and gentlemen, S Club 7 Oh yeah, S Club announced their split up the next night.......
Anyone remember this guy?...
Please forgive this next post. Our Queenslander posted some DnB today and I was a raver back in the 90's. It's almost 20 years now since I had a night I'll take with me to my grave at a rave called World Dance at Lydd Airport's main hanger. 8000 raver's Black and White united shaking a leg to the dance music of the 90's DnB. One of my favourite 'crossovers', the late Malcolm McLaren and 'Madame Butterfly'...
And perhaps the most famous 'crossover' of them all...
Here is one to make up for my DnB post. I love this one from Close To The Edge!
Yes to that UTR's!... And yes to this...
This is one of my favourite current bands. A very retro post-punk sound.
Some great stuff on here, thanks UTR's (and all contributors). Loved the Hall and Oates vids. For those who haven't seen it, Daryl Hall jams with some great people on 'Live from Daryl's House' recorded, well, in his house! Well worth a look, link here, and check out the episode archive: http://www.livefromdarylshouse.com/
