Sad to read today that the legendary Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan is going blind. He says he has around 30% vision but will carry on as long as he can. Back in 1973 he recorded this track on their 'Machine Head' album...

Steels- off to Trnsmt on the Friday, basically to see Cliffords and DJT. Getting train back from Bridgeton to Hamilton Central and staying at Premier Inn, can u envisage any issues with this?

Should all be good. Pretty sure there's an exit from Glasgow Green at the Bridgeton end once the event finishes, not a long walk to the station from there.

Wasn't that enamoured with the TRNSMT line-up this year, all the bands that are on that I'd want to see I've already seen. Going to see Peter Hook doing 50 years of Joy Division at Kelvingrove, and Neil Young at Bellahouston instead.
