A classic, posted many times but so good to listen too.... If you get the chance there's a very good documentary on BBC 4 doing the rounds about how this album was made
Bought their first single, would've been about 87 - just thought they were so different to everything else about at the time (and the girls were fit!!)
Don't worry about what you want to post or weather anyone may not like it, screw em I say. Again that's why I love this thread plus why it works so well for me, the respect everyone has shown so far. Not that it really matters I have enjoyed all of your selections mate. I'm not stuck up and I do listen to everyone's post at least once. I'm no music expert, for me what I post tends to be a refection of the mood I'm in and what kind of day I'v had. I find this thread strangely kind of therapeutic in a way. Always chills me out! Keep em coming!
I actually saw a performance of 'War of the Worlds' with Justin Hayward at Brighton a few years back, they used a hologram of Richard Burton's narration, a great show...
Love that Stephen Stills album - this track from another of his features Jimi Hendrix on guitar - one of his last proper recordings I believe..
love that track badger, never heard it before! thanks for posting it. Might have to check out the whole of that album now!!!!! I had the Manassas album on vinyl back in the day, and it was side one of the four sides that got played the most....
Iv been searching for this live version of The King Will Come for ages now and finally some good soul has uploaded it!
