A classic, posted many times but so good to listen too....
If you get the chance there's a very good documentary on BBC 4 doing the rounds about how this album was made

Wowzers, now there is a blast from the past. They came to open my local record shop in 1989 or 1990. Fair play to having a crush on them Steelman!

Bought their first single, would've been about 87 - just thought they were so different to everything else about at the time (and the girls were fit!!)

Don't worry about what you want to post or weather anyone may not like it, screw em I say. Again that's why I love this thread plus why it works so well for me, the respect everyone has shown so far.

Not that it really matters I have enjoyed all of your selections mate. I'm not stuck up and I do listen to everyone's post at least once.

I'm no music expert, for me what I post tends to be a refection of the mood I'm in and what kind of day I'v had. I find this thread strangely kind of therapeutic in a way. Always chills me out!

Keep em coming!

I actually saw a performance of 'War of the Worlds' with Justin Hayward at Brighton a few years back, they used a hologram of Richard Burton's narration, a great show...

I was 15 when this came out and I loved it. Discovered it again recently and I still love it.

Love that Stephen Stills album - this track from another of his features Jimi Hendrix on guitar - one of his last proper recordings I believe..
