I saw them years ago, in 1988, at a night club in Bristol, the Bierkeller, doubt it's still there. Met Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh in the pub across the road before the gig and had a drink with them, think it was just after they'd released their first album. Remember it well as me and a girl spent the evening at the upstairs bar chatting, she"d been the singer in the support band. We were getting on well, long kiss at the end of the night. Thought I'd never see her again....until I tuned in to Top of the Pops the following week and this came on!

It's a Thursday night but I will try and get tickets for this

This will be Sleaford Mods first time back to Australian and New Zealand soil since May and June of 2023, where they performed at events like Sydney’s Vivid LIVE and Hobart’s Dark Mofo.

Are you heading to The Rum Shack to see them Steels?
I was a little put off by the Wet Leg comparison tbf but warming to them as I listen to them a bit more.
New album is 29 mins for 10 songs! Nevertheless, on the list for a listen at the studio today.

I'm tempted, but I've already got five gigs booked in November (Sprints, Getdown Services, Model Actriz, Everything Everything and English Teacher) , so need to have a think about it!

Finally sorted out my diary and planned to get tickets for the Water From Your Eyes gig - it's ****ing sold out - aaaaaarrrrrghhhh
