Not sure we're a serious link on Turnbull.

No doubt he's been on our radar but he'd be joining the most crowded part of our team and arguably another defensively-imposing midfielder would be more preferential over another forward-minded player if we have Adams, Ings, Long, Djenepo, Redmond, JWP, Lemina etc.

This is my sentiment too, I don't think we can go into next season with only Oriel Romeu as our only defensive midfielder. Hopefully this gets addressed.

Agreed. Other CMs can play DM but it's not ideal. Romeu is our only out and out DM and arguably we could upgrade on Romeu anyway as much as I do love him.

I'd be happy to go the way of young Championship player and try n lure Phillips.

Yep, he turns 25 in the next six months. If we were signing him from someone we'd all be rightly underwhelmed. He's not up to it if we want to get back to challenging for a top-half finish.

I agree, he could do very well in the prem ( probably with Burnley or Palace even). I think people question who's team it should be with?
He deserves a few games with us until January and then assess. Its not fair stringing him along either.

Reed just doesn't fit our model now, He's getting too old, And I honestly don't think he would be a improvement on Oriol what so ever.
