An opinion piece in a local newspaper is always going to say things like this

Birmingham can’t really afford to risk the move collapsing completely due to their financial situation . So suddenly doubling the price just because of recent transfers is potentially not a sound strategy

I guess it depends on if there is enough other interest for a bidding war
