Funny you should mention Torres/Carroll, I see you are in need of a new striker. If you want to put in a bid of £35M for an up and coming Frenchman, a certain Emmanuel Rivierre, you might just get lucky again.

:bandit:

I've told you already, only if you buy balotelli for £40m

Since when did we spend our 'windfalls' wisely? Torres £50m down the drain with Carroll. Suarez £75m squandered by buying lovren, Lallana, balotelli and others. Sterling's £40m...?

Anyone got any belief that Rodgers will suddenly become a good manager and a good judge of talent ?
Would it change your mind if anyone did? :)

Sad to see a fellow teammate leave but TBF, he's been out of order with how he's gone about this move. He needs to get rid of that agent, been telling him that since we were in the youths.

Except he hadn't got him back then.

Ward left the company where sterling was and poached him.

You realise the rest (plus the Babel money) was put towards buying Suarez right...?

**** me Sky are scratching on this, they have said the Sterling deal is about to break records and then go on to state he will be 2nd at one thing, 3rd at another and 13th at another <doh>

Cheers Raheem, Id like to wish you the best for the future.......But im not going to, because you are a petulant little twerp with an ego issue.

Now hoping that BR goes out with the money and either buys Kovacic and Lacazette. Or Reus and someone else.

Thank got that steaming turd has finally gone.

£49 mill is good business.

He joins Delph in the elite of greedy English, back water scum that taint this land.

Hope the **** doesn't get a game <ok>

What's worrying for Man City is the attitude of Sterling, how many players have left a club kicking and screaming, showing his poor maturity?

Berbatov refused to play for Spurs and did alright for Man U, relegated with Fulham and nothing of great note with Monaco.

Lovren wanted to leave because he felt it was a jump up in his career and ended up being shown up for being embarrassing last season.

There are probably many others but not many players have done what Sterling did and have gone on to be the World best or even gone on to be super successful.
