And Sterling could do that in 13/14 but struggled in 14/15. So we're now writing off this players ability because of poor finishing in 1/2 a season?
I don't think anyone really writes him off, though we might be being a bit bitchy because of his behaviour.

I don't mind people being angry at the lad for leaving but can't understand why fans are forgetting how good a player he is
The point is, he has the potential to be a really good player, but he's not there yet, and that's the problem because he seems to believe he is.
He's still just a talented prospect. Anyone who can only perform for half a season, for whatever reason other than injury, cannot be described as a great player, imo. Attitude is as important as talent, and if he doesn't get that right he'll end up at the bottom of a long list of highly gifted individuals who have failed to realise their potential.

£40m would see you net £32m after paying QPR their 20% (before paying his agent and his loyalty bonus, lol)

Which you'll then no doubt hand straight over to Villa for Benteke.

We wouldn't pay his agent anything, that comes from buying club, and loyalty bonus will be waived as it'll be part of the agreement that he hands in a transfer truest before its accepted.

Got this numbers lotto numbers while you're at it Mystic Meg?

the important first step is city actually amke a bid. i would say after that it will take several days of negotiations to get all this figured out.

until they bid sterling is ****ed. he's made himself look bad and needs to knuckle down and have someone at least say yeah he was actually sick we checked. He should also pack his bag as the hassle fo a long flight now verses the hassle of staying at lfc and being booed al lthe time is no contest.

has to prove himself worth a bid.

£42m cash

£5m in add-ons based on City's performance (not Sterling's appearances)

Transfer request handed in

Agent fees covered by City

Take it or go **** yourself

yeah but they have to actually bid first........................

you might as well be shouting that at a wall.

Plus thats never happening. add ons based on city's performance are never going to occur. They will be based on appearances by sterling.

Then Astro will go on about Net Spend next season when talking about Clubs signings <whistle>

You're on the back foot now though, they can wait this one out a while yet.......

so can we. No FFP to worry about and Even FSG to cover £40/50m for a few months, knowing they'll get a decent price in the end, even if it is only £40m. No different at all to the Torres situation.

<ok>

I think if this window closes and he is still there you can forget anywhere near £50m

Players can forget thinking they can behave like total ****s and expect to still get what they want too <ok>
