The problem is as quality players like Leon and Rangel they were never replaced with players of the same or similar quality and things just allowed to drift. Our transfer dealings have been horrendous. The people who are suffering are the fans and the players who are getting blamed because they are not good enough. This is not their fault but the fault of the idiots in charge of our transfer policy who recruited them.

If we are still in with a chance of survival on Sunday I'd play Rangel, Dyer and Routledge - the club means a lot to them (Leon has no chance tbh) and they could do no less than we've seen in recent weeks from Clucas, King, Carroll, Narsingh and Ki. (I'm clutching at straws here.)

You are spot on regarding recruitment not only on the players we've brought in but the amount we've paid for them.

If we drop we have a decent core to a Championship side but I bet wages would be a problem.
