That was the most common remark in my report book
I remember a comment from my form teacher after my first year at Grammar School.
"Academically, Andrew has had a sound first year. Socially, I've not always been so pleased with him."
Someone had spat at me. I spat back at him, missed and my form teacher copped it as he walked through the door into the playground
Got sent to the head for that, who later (when I was at university) went on to murder his wife
