Did 20 miles on the bike earlier as my once a day exercise, not a huge distance but a decent spin and roads very quiet ... ended up piss wet through by the end though as I didn't realise it was going to rain and it had been quite pleasant when I set off so I wasn't wearing a proper waterproof layer ... was wearing a fairly expensive mostly white jersey as well that ended up with road grime all up the back of it, wonderful. Nasty head wind all the way back too for the return leg

Out on the bike again today. Evening ride this time as the sun was setting so quite a nice atmosphere. An even shorter spin than Sunday, 12 miles approx, but it was sunny all the way, mild and not much wind about. Metallica as riding music of choice

Hope everyone is getting out a bit in your own ways

Are you seeing many people out and about when you're on your rides or is it pretty deserted?

Yes seeing people out and about on walks getting fresh air, some on their own or in pairs, some families in small groups with little kids. Not many though. I've also seen some teens, or early twenties types hanging around in ways they're probably not supposed to be doing right now. This is is mostly when I hop on the bike down to the shops. On Monday there was barely anyone around which I put down to it being bank holiday on top of everything else. Bit more life this evening

Curiously not seeing many, if any other road cyclists, though there tends to be a few people on bikes, commuters and more recreational casual type riders pootling about

Thanks for that. I was curious to know if people were generally adhering to the rules. You don't know unless you are out there yourself.

Hillsborough thread closed so I will put this here: Remembering the 96 souls today, 31 years on. May they rest in peace <rose> and may the survivors, friends and families find their own peace and comfort knowing that they are not alone as the LFC family continues to support them.
