Making some raised borders? Don't worry those railway sleepers aren't as heavy as they look![]()
We are shifting 9 tons of soil, I am moving most of it but the Mrs does a few half barrow loads and then tells everyone she is doing it all!

Drop in number of deaths todayI'm trying to put my brain power into something positive and uplifting at the moment. I've got neither the will nor the mental fortitude to discuss the current situation, especially the latest 'f' word.![]()

You talking about the weather? it wasn't sunny here in fact it was the worst weather we'd had for over a week. Hopefully most people carried on staying in.About time tbf but give a week and they'll go up again after this weekend
Furlough decision reversed. Letter to fans from Peter Moore on official website.
Good news.

How's your daughter? @Garlic Klopp
So sorry to hear that.We were told a couple of days ago that someone in the Mrs' family had got CV. This morning we've been informed that he's died
Not a close member of the family. I'd never heard of him never mind met him and I've been with the mrs (nm) for 15yrs! Still sad to hear of course.

So sorry to hear that.
Been quite down lately, a family member has it. Has none of the symptoms we've been told to expect, no high temperature, no cough but had severe shortage of breath - in isolation in hospital. He's picking up which is good.

Glad she's better and good news about your surveyor friendShe is fine now, thanks.
A surveyor I often work with who is about 50 ended up in Stockport Hospital in an induced coma due to COVID-19, but heard yesterday he is awake, off his ventilator and has spoken to his relatives by phone so some who are very bad do recover.

Ridiculous isn't it? I must say I do feel for people who haven't got a garden or outside space to have a bit of exercise in but it's really not that difficult to give up on your usual routine for the sake of stayingNipped out today * to pick some bits up and the amount of people out and about is ridiculous. Far busier than it usually is and long queues to in places like Sainsbury's, BnM's etc. Sacked off anywhere that had a big queue, ended up at Morrisons.
* well, the Mrs did whilst I stayed in the car with the 6yr old
PS... tried BnM's because I thought I could pick up a inflatable hot tub whilst there, ****ing queues![]()

Shouldn't the police be erm ..... policing this? There's relaxing the rules and there's turning a blind eye ......Seriously, there were people everywhere. Loads on push bikes, lots of people walking in ones or twos but some groups too. Traffic was like a normal day.
I realise I was out too but this was the first time we'd ventured out other than taking and fetching the mrs to and from work!
