It should just be called 'I hate Stevie G'. There is no journalism there at all. Pure hatchet job. They say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but pieces like that confirm the saying that 'journalism is an intellectual brothel from which there is no escape'!

Yup, confirms what we all knew anyway, sports journalism is dead and replaced with online wums merely looking at their page counts as proof they did a good job.

The fact that this guy won Sports Journalist of the year here and yet I can find no history/biography on his credentials says it all....

Yeah, objective journalism seems dead in the water. It has been replaced by opinion pieces where we, the public, are swamped with the coma-inducing, bile-flecked opinions of buffoons who are bloated with their own self-importance and inebriated by the exuberance of their own verbosity. Twats.

<laugh> Sounds like the ramblings of a child!

I actually agree that second best in England was a bit much, he had a great season but Gerrard didn't ****ing pick himself did he!? Moron.

Wonder what he's views were when Giggs won S.P.O.T.Y

It's only a matter of time before one of the WUMs on the other boards picks this piece up and creates a thread about it. Bets on the Chelsea or Man Utd board to do it first? ;)

Finally a fair and unbiased view.

And we have a winner! It's not a thread, though. Yet ...

why wouldn't we be?

maybe the wums could argue we didn't get the title even though its a bit lame, but considering we finished sandwiched between 2 clubs where money doesn't matter, we done well, also our target was top 4 not 2nd lol.

We overachieved

City expected to win title and did, us top4 finished 2nd! Chelsea expected to win title (despite what everyone says) and finished 3rd after being top in March! True bottlers <whistle>. Arsenal 4th, if they win the FA cup at the weekend will be a very good season for them

Spurs, expected to do a lot better
Everton, over achieved? I dont know
Man Utd <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> Top 4 was the aim
