Like others on here I had big reservations about some of Lamouchi's selections, communication and tactics but for some continuity I thought he would get the job.
Our revolving door is turning as quickly as Watford's. This is not good for the club and does little to attract a manager of any sort of calibre. Or players.
In the short term, what now happens with our retained list? I assume we have a list of targets, umbongo or otherwise. Where will we go with that?
A new manager will wa t to impose his own style of play and training and want his own support team. Where does that leave Sol in all of this?
Preparation and training for next season will start in June. Without a manager that will be a total mess.
Perhaps someone is lined up, Sol maybe although I'm not sure he's up to it.

Catch 22 though, pay off the Sala balance, say £10m or so. No money available for new players.

I wonder if we will ever know if Lamouchi walked or was he pushed? Probably never although as he is out of contract there should t be any sort of gagging order on him.

Well according to WOL he was shown the door before any discussions took place.
Read elsewhere he had 5 players lined up to come but this didn’t square with Tans financial plans -

A raft of clubs will appoint new managers in a structured way in next to no time. Probably because they'd been maintaining a shortlist of suitable candidates.

Looking at the forum it seems everyone could manage the team and get promoted, the fact is 3 managers kept us in relegation trouble all season and I suppose anyone on the forum could hardly have done any worse. I blame the managers for picking four players, Wintle went downhill, Sawyers, Rhino and Romeo who happen to be the four that gave away 4 goals in two games. Rhino kicking the ball to the corner flag from halfway as a backpass to Allsop. Wintle heading the ball back across his own goal a yard out, Sawyers with a toe poke to their player to score and Romeo chesting the ball in the penalty area to one of their players to score. But the damage these four players do moving forward or passing is why we had the season we had. Tan has put over £200 million into the club and got us two promotions and an fa cup final and a league cup final, how many other owners have done that with a championship side. I like the way the fans rally round to pay for Sala. ah actually they have not given a penny just looking for another hand out for Tan.I am sure thousand of fans think like me that is why they dont come on this forum because of the bias and unfair remarks about Tan.
