Its not whether I think they are winnable but whether the reasons I give are resonable. If Palace need a win to stay up they'll attack and leave room at the back. We have shown what a very good counter-attacking team we are. If we remain tight at the back we'll have opportunities to win. We are a better team then Sunderland. Unless we do something stupid we'll win. Yes Spurs is the difficult one, but they showed last season they are not invincible when disappointment sets in. If we need 3 points we'll be up for it and they will have to decide whether they want a fight or not. Why risk injury when the summer hols beckon. Some people think that Swansea City will win their 3 matches without any problem, all I'm doing is saying that is irrelevant if we win our three, all of which are winnable.
If we do win another game (the 10th league win of the season) and we still go down then that's me and Steve Bruce finished.
I honestly think one more win would be enough, particularly if that win is on Saturday before Swansea go to Everton 5 points behind. I think (hope) that would be too much for them.
Should have said played Everton, I didn't know whether they are at home or away, still a tough game either way.
My feeling is we will be safe by the final whistle of our game with Palace. I think Swansea will get a point out of Everton and Sunderland (feeling like that may come against Everton). I think we will get 4 pts from Sunderland and Palace (feeling we will draw with Sunderland and get that elusive away win at Palace in a cup final atmosphere). Wishful thinking maybe due to me going to the palace game. anyone know how bad the restricted view seats are at Palace?
My tickets are for block T at Palace - I was expecting them to be nearest to the goal but they are midway in one half of the pitch
