I only hope if we do sell Deeney we manage to replace him well unlike our efforts to replace Vydra!
Rumour has it we are selling in the summer and replacing with 'a vydra-esque' player and a.n. other...read into that what you will!
Deeney only came good after Sordell left. Maybe we won't need a replacement. Maybe we have a star waiting to do whatever stars do before they light up the sky.
There is the possibility that even if we had more of a Vydra type player this season, would Deeney and him have gelled? It may work out better with a completely new partnership next season - not that I particularly want Deeney to go.
