i did see activity in the Red Lion last week, it looks gutted to me, (though not in a sad way lol)
As mentioned before the Bristol game the Red lion has been smartened up on the outside ,and work is underway ,I did try to have a nosey inside but cit chased off by workmen!!
i wouldn't say it's been smartened up on the outside particularly..but yep, work has been underway for a long while..
Its had a lick paint some new window frames and doorframes ,new guttering and some areas of the lower roof may have been treated to some new tiles!
Maybe your used to it as see it regularly , It was certainly a lot"fresher" since the qpr game last season
lol...okies, i'll have to take a closer look at the outside...the inside is definitely different!
I heard something similar - only it was David Beckham who was spotted holding a curtain rod in The Red Lion. Closer inspection revealed that the rod was, in fact, Victoria.

Joe Garner
They will also opt not to extend the loan of Craig Beattie, and youth players such as Adam Thompson, Piero Mingoia and Sean Murray will be loaned out.
They will extend the loans of Michael Kightly and Nyron Nosworthy for the full season and will attempt to get the following in:
Jason Roberts
Akos Buszaky (loan)
Simon Cox (loan)

Roberts no thanks! Cox maybe, Akos cant see that happen ,but would be ace if it did! Piero should be loaned out , I would have thought Thompson should be used as defensive cover especially with Dale out!
