I would rather have nobody than Heskey .....with 10 men he wouldn't block shots on goal and trip over when given the ball.
I dunno, he could be a sensation in the Championship, he is excellent in the air, good defensively and with a powerful right boot. He also always seems to have the right attitude of helping the youngsters, team spirit etc..........I think at our level he would be a good acquisition
Would Emil Heskey have anything to prove, will he be hungry and I do not mean in a Nathan Ellington way?
Hmm, well...Heskey is great occasionally, but more often than not, not so good..but who knows how he'd play in the Championship. I don't think we'd get him, and yes, i wouldn't want our club to be the joke of the league, but it could work...and then who'd be laughing?
True indeed. We disagree on the EH situation. I recon if it is one of his foremost attributes then really he isn't a great striker.....
Alternatively, someone on FB reckons we have been linked with this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farid_El_Alagui - a striker currently playing for Falkirk.
Latest offerings: 08 May 2012 18:21:56 Watford striker Troy Deeney is rumoured to be on his way to Sheffield Wednesday, although Charlton and Millwall are also interested. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 08 May 2012 17:40:33 Yeovil will make a move for newly released Jamie McCalister as he has expressed his desire to stay in the south west and Yeovil will want a right back with luke ayling considering an offer from Watford. Why on earth would we be looking at another right back?
Ayling is said to be a Full back, CB of DMF player. He was an arsenal youth player but did not get offered a contract, and so signed for Yeovil. He might however, be a replacement for JE who may choose to retire. I never want to see Jenkins unless he has improved 200% (disgrace to the name). He has the same discipliary record as JE- forty appearances in his first full season with Yeovil but had discipline issues receiving thirteen yellow and two red cards
I would have thought if he was going to play in the Championship it would be with Leicester, it is his home town afer all and it was where he started his career
Thankfully we would never be able to afford Heskey's wages. We already have a donkey in Iwelumo, dont want another. If we're looking at this Ayling guy then I hope we are also looking at Andy Williams who scored 17 league goals for Yeovil this season even though he missed over 2 months with an injury.
