I thought he had a couple of outstanding performances at the end of the season.

Very pleased with this first signing.

The club has developed a habit of keeping figures to themselves and you can't believe numbers in the press.

I doubt it was megabucks and if that's the case, there must still be a few bob in the purse for other positions.

This one is weird IMO. You either hold a scarf and wear the shirt or hold the shirt and wear a scarf (or just hold the shirt or just wear the shirt) - why would you hold the shirt and wear the shirt? Who's idea was that? (glad he's signed BTW!)
