Did you bother with the second half…?Well that's ruined the final. SA will run away with this now.
As the Rugby Unión World Cup.generated considerable comment, I hope the moderators don't mind me changing the title of the thread so.that we can continue to.comment on.club and internacional.rugby!

Are you fully vaccinated? Have you got 5G? I'm vacced up but only get 4G+, still waiting, haven't heard from Bill or Melinda.Tech issues I'm afraid
Right fat fingered tech issue resolved. Just wanted to bite the bullet Ides, I'm a soccer man but many of my chummy friends are rugby types so I occasionally watch it on tele. I sometimes argue with them that the scrum feature of rugby ruins the game for the average spectator. They respond with the technical theatre of scrummaging argument which I wouldn't understand etc etc.As the Rugby Unión World Cup.generated considerable comment, I hope the moderators don't mind me changing the title of the thread so.that we can continue to.comment on.club and internacional.rugby!

About 5ish years ago a newspaper monitored the Rugby Premiership games over a weekend and published the "Lost time: How scrums cost hours at the weekend" These were the results which I think speak for themselves ( It's arguably worse at minor club levels)
Scrums Resets In-play time Total Dead Time
Bath v London Irish. 15. 0. 33m59s. 93m 56s 59m57s
Bristol v Saracens. 15. 3. 27m06s. 98m13s. 71m07s
Exeter v Leicester. 13. 4. 29m15s. 94m20s. 65m05s
Harlequins v Sale. 15. 2. 24m58s. 98m46s. 73m48s
Northampton v Wasps. 27. 6. 23m32s. 96m25s. 72m53s
Worcester v Gloucester. 12. 0. 32m17s. 93m34s. 61m17s
This demonstrates that, in the average game, the ball is only live for approx 1/3 of the time length of the game.
I rest my case m'lud.
Just as well that rule doesn't apply to the round ball game what with that Jude Bellingham tearing it up in Spain.Great news for the future of the England team! Owen Farrell is set to sign for Racing in France, making him ineligible to play for his country.
