You have to hand it to the Boks, their defence was unbelievable throughout the tournament. Heartbreak for the AB’s but SA deserved it.
Thank you moderators for allowing this special thread for the duration of a splendid tournament.with SA's durability triumphing over an enterprising All.Black side. In the next 4 years some sides will have to rebuild, some sides (France) will peak while oñe team.needs a massive change from.the kick and chase its many fans have had to endure while its rivals have played a more expansive game in the 6 Nations and in this tournament

Right fat fingered tech issue resolved. Just wanted to bite the bullet Ides, I'm a soccer man but many of my chummy friends are rugby types so I occasionally watch it on tele. I sometimes argue with them that the scrum feature of rugby ruins the game for the average spectator. They respond with the technical theatre of scrummaging argument which I wouldn't understand etc etc.
About 5ish years ago a newspaper monitored the Rugby Premiership games over a weekend and published the "Lost time: How scrums cost hours at the weekend" These were the results which I think speak for themselves ( It's arguably worse at minor club levels)

Yesterday Farrell plays for Saracens who win and in the process score six tries. He must play a different type game when playing for his club as opposed to.his country. If England could take the Sarries approach, they would do.a lot better in the Six Nations!!
No sooner are we lamenting the passing of a footballing great, we are now saddened with the loss of JPR Williams, who was part of that legendary Wales side that elevated the game of Rugby Unión to new heights, despite being an amateur game back then. For those of a younger generation, Wales were magical to watch with Barry John, Phil Bennett, JJ Williams, Gerald Davies, Gareth Edwards, John Dawes, and JPR side-stepping opponents to set up many a try scoring opportunity. RIP JPR.
Great news for the future of the England team! Owen Farrell is set to sign for Racing in France, making him ineligible to play for his country.
Just as well that rule doesn't apply to the round ball game what with that Jude Bellingham tearing it up in Spain.
