Boom! Surely this is Irelands opportunity to finally get past the quarters. Need to take it.

No they didn’t. New Zealand were the better team overall.
They had 20 minutes against 14 men and didn't score many points in that period. NZ were incredible in defence but Ireland still blew a huge opportunity to win tonight and then at least reach the final.

Perhaps by not being the overall favourites has helped NZ thus far as the weight of expectation has been lessened after suffering the series defeat to Ireland last summer, being demolished by SA in a warm-up and losing the opening game of the tournament. . Unless they are complete rank in the semi, surely they have too much class and experience for a game Argentina?

How's the much vaunted all northern hemisphere semi final line up going?

(that was a magnificent game. NZ are like the German team in football - you can never count them out).

Certainly the more clinical. Felt like Ireland created lots of nearly moments but lacked the composure at the right moments whereas NZ fully took the opportunities they had.

Can't afford to not take your chances against a side of that quality ultimately.

The amount of turnovers on the ground England have generated has been huge. And not easy against the power of Fiji.
