Got to say I feel somewhat devastated.

Not for Wales...who did their best, but were not quite good enough....but for Ireland.

Best team in the tournament, best Irish team in several lifetimes...and beaten on the day by a team that matched them...and knew just how to win.

This is just so sad
The best team in the Rugby World Cup wins it 95% of the time Beth ! Ireland a great side but until you win the World Cup you can never say your one of the truly great teams

Just got back to the hotel.

Feels like a game we lost rather than the Argies won it.

We failed to kick on at 10-0 …. another score then and we thought that the Argies’ heads would have gone … but it never materialised <doh>

The Pumas fans were fantastic … completely outshone and outsang the Welsh - we should hang our heads in Shame :emoticon-0130-devil

I met some of them in Paris before the Ire V Scot game and in Tokyo during the last world cup. They are very passionate alright.

Never, hang your head in shame. Wales has always been a great rugby nation. Sport is so cruel at times and so great at other times. You win some, you lose some. Equally as gutted but like you, extremely proud. Chin up.

I know what you mean and largely agree with you but our support was really poor today.

It may have been because the Argies were in largish‘clusters’ and were able to generate some noise/momentum

45 minutes to kick off
I really have no confidence in this England team. They've played the luck of the draw well so far, but I’ve seen nothing from them that would convince me that they would live with the quality and intensity of the Ireland/NZ clash yesterday or France or the Boks for that matter. The chasm in standard between the two games yesterday could well be repeated today.

Looking forward to it though.

How’s the head?

The whole of last night was a sobering experience :(
