That was ****ing insane ! Every player out on their feet. Truly incredible defence from the All Blacks. Gotta feel sorry for Ireland, just ran into an inspired old school All Blacks performance. Can they repeat that in the Semi's and Final ? Hard luck Ireland

Despite this I expected Ireland to win, and to win the competition, and although I think the All Blacks just about shaded it, Jodie Barrett’s hold up the decisive moment, it could have gone the other way. Could this be New Zealand’s England 2019 v them moment? Surely they can’t get to that level again?

A sad farewell to Sexton, he'll be sorely missed. Ake didn't deserve to be on the losing side, was immense all tournament. Kane is a monster player for the Blacks !

Got to say I feel somewhat devastated.
Not for Wales...who did their best, but were not quite good enough....but for Ireland.
Best team in the tournament, best Irish team in several lifetimes...and beaten on the day by a team that matched them...and knew just how to win.

What an incredible game, both teams gave it their all but it came down to fine margins. Ireland had their chances but couldn't take them. NZ's defence was off the scale. It would've made a great final and it was good to see both teams turn up on the night.
That's two disappointing results in one day.
