I dunno if any one remembers but last year I put up a post about my good friend, Andy, who had been diagnosed with Cancer, and given a year to live.
Andy was a fighter all the way and lived longer than expected, giving pleasure to all that continued to have his company.
Today, sadly, he lost the battle and died peacefully with his family around him.
Andy was a true hero, someone who dedicated his life to helping others, and a true ambassador for the London Ambulance Service.
Tonight I’m broken and it’s gonna be a long hard night shift tonight.
RIP Andy Hughes…I’ll miss you so much mate xx

I'm so sorry for your lost my good mate.

Sorry Staines. Can hear what a great loss he is to you. No words can take away, or make it any easier, losing someone so close.
Thoughts are with you and Andy’s friends and family. RIP Andy.
Hope you get through the shift pal. <rose>

Didn’t want this lost on the music thread
Tonight a voice of my generation has left us

Was just gonna post exact same video. Totally gutted - The Specials were one of the first bands I really got in to along with others of the ska/two-tone scene, seen them a few times.

RIP Terry <wah> <rose>
