Absolutely gutted to announce the passing of my mate Andy. A few of you on here would know him. We were like partners in crime watching the Rangers… never a sober game. One of the best days out was the play off final where he was on top form. I have so many stories to tell but Is hard enough writing this. He was a season ticket holder in the Paddock with his young daughter. People that knew him would describe him as a loveable guy. He worked at a school and would wear his QPR top every morning when the kids arrived. Sadly he passed away on Sunday doing a triathlon, the thing he loved best after Rangers,
My love and thoughts go out to his wife, son ( also QPR) and his 2 young daughters.
RIP mate I will never forget our time watching the R’s x

Condolences Ellers and to your mate's family. Always sad to hear of anyone's passing especially a fellow hoop. I'm sure you have some wonderful memories and maybe the club could put a few words about him in the opening home game programme of the new season ? I personally think that all hoops supporters that pass away should get an honourable mention in the following programme with a few words from the owners, it's the least they deserve after following our club with such passion ! Thinking of you pal

Thanks mate. I hope the club do mention it in a programme. He was a very popular fella at HQ and will be sorely missed. I think over the last 12-14 years I can count on one hand the amount of games I went to without him. It won’t ever be the same for me. Sadly due to work commitments our last game together was the 4-0 win against Reading. We met up with Watford in the before the game. I still remember us on the train home drinking and singing and him telling me that I needed to get my arse back to HQ more. I will talk with the family later this week and see if we can arrange something with QPR.

Condolences to you Ellers. Losing a best mate like that must be like losing a brother.
Remember all those great times together and times following the SuperHoops!

Condolences to Andy’s family too - clearly taken from his family far too young and will be a terrible terrible loss for them.
