Absolutely gutted to announce the passing of my mate Andy. A few of you on here would know him. We were like partners in crime watching the Rangers… never a sober game. One of the best days out was the play off final where he was on top form. I have so many stories to tell but Is hard enough writing this. He was a season ticket holder in the Paddock with his young daughter. People that knew him would describe him as a loveable guy. He worked at a school and would wear his QPR top every morning when the kids arrived. Sadly he passed away on Sunday doing a triathlon, the thing he loved best after Rangers,
My love and thoughts go out to his wife, son ( also QPR) and his 2 young daughters.
RIP mate I will never forget our time watching the R’s x
So sorry to hear this news Ellers <rose><rose><rose><rose>

Mary Mara dead at 61: ‘Law & Order’ actress drowned in New York river
Mary Mara, a veteran actress who appeared on TV shows such as “Law & Order,” “NYPD Blue” and “Ray Donovan,” has died after drowning in the St. Lawrence River over the weekend.

She was 61.

Troopers responded to a possible drowning call at 8 a.m. Sunday. Once on the scene in Cape Vincent, they found her body, according to a New York State Police report obtained by The Post.

Mara was visiting her sister and was swimming in the water, police said. TMZ reported she jumped in to exercise.

Her body exhibited no signs of foul play and has been taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, according to the state police.

Amazing lady who graciously shared her life and experiences through to the end in such a way that many people will have taken action and talked about their fears. Who knows how many lives she will have saved, and changed, in such a short time.

RIP Dame Deborah <peacedove> <rose>

Ten weeks from receiving the bad news to leaving us. Very sad.

I have two friends battling The Big C at the moment: one of the pancreas and one of the breast. The first has been told to prepare, the second remains unsure of her prospects. Cancer is a bastard.
