RIP Tom Wolfe, who’s journalism and fiction caught the flavour of the certain elements of the US in the 60s, 70s and 80s brilliantly. Shame they turned Bonfire of the Vanities into such a crap film.

Durbar, get a grip. If you've got nothing worth saying, sometimes better to say nothing.

It is shocking and sad when a 37 year old dad drops his kids at school, probably said I love you, see you later, but then a tragedy occurs and he won't see them later and they'll never see him again. I reckon they'll be shocked. Doesn't matter how many people suffer a similar fate, the consequences for the kids and family are shocking, lives changed forever.

Ok Woody, just didn't understand why Ellers was shocked, and as you agree with me, it was sad.

Thank you Woody. He is not just acting like a real muppet but he is being disrespectful on the RIP thread. Makes you think what sort of a person he is?

Am I missing something here? I don't see anything on Ellers original post where he says he is shocked unless it has been edited which I don't see............all I see is a smart arse response from you, why did you feel the need to post such a comment?

Tramore I have not edited any of my posts. It started on post 1353 saying how shocking it was that J lloyd SamuelI was killed after dropping his kids off at school. I found the further comments disrespectful on the RIP thread. Seriously there is no need for that. If he is older than 12 he should be ashamed of himself. There are times to be a WUM or a smart arse but people should know when to be respectful.
Sadly it has become par for the course recently. I guess this Trolling originated from another thread and sadly I get 1 or 2 that follow me around like sheep disagreeing with everything I say or making snide remarks.
I can take that on other threads but the RIP? Not good.

Right get it, it's a time line thing relating to a post yesterday about the ex Villa player who died in a car crash after dropping his kids off a school.

So okay Durbar your post at 1364 is just juvenile eh? Trolling Ellers ? If you took the time to read the T & C's that 999's posted the other week you will see what our view on trolling is. I don't get why people feel the need to do that......

I f you think Im trolling then i have no problem being banned but as I said to ellers "that Im not having a go for for him the death of a football player in a car accident "shocking" trolling then the 9s and your definition of trolling is very weird. Do you think every time someone dies in a traffic accident "shocking" then your and Ellers grasp of the English language is a little lacking. (by the way I didn't reply sooner as Ive just got back from a very nice Indian lunch. I suppose you 9s and Ellers will think thats a racist post).:emoticon-0136-giggl

First off all durbar I haven't said anything about the "shocking " death of the former villa player because I didn't see the original post.....what I did pick up on was your "shocking" comment in reply to ellers post about Ray Wilson dying which I found confusing. Was it your attempt at being humerous? If so it fell flat and showed you as being juvenile which I'm surprised at as I always thought of you being a better poster than that.
Lastly your final comment above doesn't deserve a response as it's just ridiculous beyond words.
