Very sad news...only 52. Condolences to his ex-wife and kids.
Yeah absolute choker that, played Poker against him 3 times and was a really nice guy, very generous even if he was crap at poker. Supreme talent with the ball in his hands, a genius. Wouldn't be surprised if too much Charlie has done for him in the end, he did like a line or 7. RIP to the king of spin

If Rod Marsh packed a lot of life into his 74 years Shane Warne packed a hell of a lot more into his 52........ The greatest spin bowler and all round good guy....... that ball to Gatting..... it was a genuine announcement that greatness had arrived........
