Only seen half as n hour of episode oneEnjoy, you're in for a treat. It's the only series I've watched all the way through twice, it's that good.
Looks good so far

This could go on the politics thread, but more fitting for here I think. Listening to Rory Stewart’s series “The Long History of Argument” on the wireless. Excellent and thought provoking. Little surprise that Stewart has turned his back on conventional British politics, far too bright and balanced.
Brilliant. Off to Somerset in a few minutes to stay with one of my European footy trip mates - a few walks, beers and good food……Enjoying retirement?
Be good to hear of some of the good food establishments SbBrilliant. Off to Somerset in a few minutes to stay with one of my European footy trip mates - a few walks, beers and good food……
Watched it at the weekend. Impressive how something on that scale can be so poorly organised. Promoters were unbelievably arrogant too.Peace and love, 90s style.....what could possibly go wrong

Great three-part documentary about Woodstock 99....as the title suggest, a total Trainwreck. Yanks are such arseholes

The Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix is worth watching too, if you liked this.
Lol Stroller, we taped it & it’s almost finished & like you said absolutely nothing happening, Lol & we’ve scheduled for 3 more episodes, er I don’t think soI'm currently sitting open-mouthed and drooling in stunned disbelief at the utter drivel I've just sat through on BBC1. Marriage, stars Sean Bean and Nicola Walker - two excellent actors - so it was reasonable to assume that in the course of an hour of television 'drama' something might happen. Nothing did.
Horrendous and thoroughly depressing in its emptiness.
Just seen some of this. Deeply odd. Bean is a very, very good actor and acts his little socks off in this. But I couldn’t care less about him or any of the other characters. They should have done a fly on the wall documentary in a middle aged couples’ house if they wanted total naturalism and the minutiae of life.I'm currently sitting open-mouthed and drooling in stunned disbelief at the utter drivel I've just sat through on BBC1. Fake or Fortune on BBC1.
Enjoyable programme, and by its nature only a few can be done every year. Always learn something from them.
Jeopardy in this one. If the French experts say that the picture, perhaps by Sisley, is a fake, they will burn it. Or so my daughter tells me.I liked the one last week that was painted on the wall of the spare room

So the French Sisley Committee has already rejected this painting in 2015. Now they are asking it to overturn its own judgement….admit fallibility ….mais non, c’est impossible!
