Cheers, but it’s going to take a major effort, the first few minutes that I did catch didn’t grab me at all, and another grim crime n politics mash up is the last thing I need.Just watched this and was rather disappointed. Surprisingly clunky dialogue and unnatural acting (apart from Billie Piper who was wonderful). Hardly any plot development in this first part, either. Despite all this, I will see it through, because I think there must be better to come. There were intriguing references to privatisation and a Labour party which has shifted to the right, but it seems to be set in the near future rather than Blair-era. Give it a go.

Question Time coming on so I’m changing channel, hopefully some Family Guy on.
Christopher Nolan on this weeks Desert Island Discs. Not as interesting as I was hoping. In my quest to see all of Christopher Nolan's films, we just watched Memento (a Christmas present from my son), which had been a glaring omission heretofore - I think I recall you saying it was your favourite of his. I really enjoyed it, but, as is customary with Nolan, will have to watch it again to fully get it. I think it may be just the Batman films to go now.
White pepper on fresh strawberries.
Try it, it works.

I’d rather spunk into a packet of Frazzles.
Just turned on to see Gary Numan wearing the most ridiculous and obvious rug in the history of rugdom and dressed up like an extra from Mad Max. Not sure about having an audience. Used to love the 100% full on renditions in front of a couple of cameramen.Anyone watching the Whistle Test? Great stuff.

I remember the New York Dolls doing a completely manic version of Jet Boy with no audience and thinking what would they be like with equally mad fans?Danny Baker just made the same point about the audience. Really enjoyed the Numan track.
Actually watching this now, as the dog has refused to go for a walk in the cold, and you are spot on about the clunky dialogue. Very stagey. Very surprised that John Sim, who I always thought was a very good actor, didn’t say ‘nobody speaks like this Sir David, please write something better’. All the characters seem to be shorthand.Just watched this and was rather disappointed. Surprisingly clunky dialogue and unnatural acting (apart from Billie Piper who was wonderful). Yeah, it hasn't got any better. Still watching it, but don't really care what happens.
