The photo I want to use is just under 10kb, so is well within the limits, and yet it still tells me it's too big
You just can't win sometimes.
You get a similar message when you try to post pics, got to be such and such and such and such.

Just gone through something similar, been some changes made to using avs it would seem, had to resize one several times to get it accepted. Nit picking over a few pixels.

The sizing thing must be something new, I hadn't changed mine for a while and wouldn't have known about it if people hadn't mentioned that they couldn't see my old one.
