So how's the vibe in The Hornet's Nest HTID? I see the new owners have set out their plan. What do the fans think?

well, the fans are impressed with the statement..and are excited and optimistic about the future...but mega peeved that they've sacked Sean Dyche, and by all accounts will place Zola in the manager's position...Sean Dyche didn't deserve that...on a tiny budget he got us to our highest position in 4 years and did better as Watford Manager than Brendan Judas Rodgers or Malky Judas II Mackay! He is loyal and honest, and deserves far better...

Often the way with the loyal and honest types. Won't forget how Hughton was treated, no matter how well Pardew does (not that it was his fault, so no blame there).

Do you think they are genuinely commited to getting Watford back into the prem, on the club's own merits? Or is there there true mileage in the Udinese 'feeder' club concept?

i think it's a bit of both. I think they want Watford to be successful, but at the same time, they want to use us for getting Udinese players up to speed, just like they use Granada at the moment.

Well, I hope it works out for the Hornets - but equally I hope they still develop a decent proportion of ''home grown' talent and not sacrifice it for the needs of wider interests.

Sounds like exciting times ahead now you've found a sugar daddy to own the club. I hope he 'spoils' Watford in the right way!
