Where are the likes of Gorgeous George, Goggledd and Pumpher Assover? I have rep to spread.

What do you think of the change in manager Swimaway? I know Rodgers was well-respected, but what about the fans' view on Laudrup? Keen to hear from a Swans fan. <cheers>

For a team that was almost out of the league/existance 9 years ago ... to be in the Prem, playing some good footballl, club running at a profit with MICHAEL BLOODY LAUDRUP now as manager is dreamland. At present, we are taking it as a the compliment it is, that our 'style/philosophy' is attractive to such a Legend. He is making the right noises .... but only time will tell.

We all loved Rodgers but he did seem to enjoy taking the credit for the Swansea passing game, which if you remember, we had in the Championship under Martinez/Sousa. Will be interesting to see how he/the change of style goes at the 'pool, but he was a cracking ambassador for our club and city.... he get's all the best wishes from me.

If you had asked any Swansea fan at the end of the season, "here's £7 million for Rodgers and part of the backroom ... and you can have Michael Laudrup, the tika taka legend who learned his trade under Cryuff as manager on a free." We'd have bit your hand off. EXCITING TIMES!! <cheers>

I just hope Mrs Laudrup and the sprogs aren't too pissed off with the UK yet, as all it's done is piss down since they came across from Mallorca!!

(PS rep back to you when I'm outta this hell hole of a rep prison!)

LOL - it always rains when I'm in Wales.

Agree with your comments - and also Rodgers didn't do so well at Reading when sandwiched between Coppell and McDermott, who both did/have. A lot of what Swansea had was there before he arrived, so no reason why you can't progress without him.

I remember you gave us a hard game at your place in the Championship. Had some great banter with Swans fans that year and really glad you've stayed up in the Prem. A joy to watch and genuinely hope you keep up the style of play and the results (including us beating you of cource - no offence). Good luck for next season.

Need to widen my circle of friends, shall catch up with 'The Usual Suspects' when I can!
